On TV
Not me...but my friend, Dana, was randomly stopped for a short interview yesterday during the March for Babies. We thought it was pretty neat. And to hear the anchor say Lydia's name on the news was special, too. Dana, you did great! You can (but not really) also see Mike's head bobbing in the crowd (wearing a navy blue baseball cap). It was such a huge turnout yesterday, as you can tell.
Oh, and an update as to our total money raised...$5902. :-)

Wow. I continue to be so amazed at how you choose to help others in remembering your little girl.Lindsay - Mon April 28, 2008, 8:04 am
Hey lady! Marching for Babies was great. I definitely think that will become an annual thing for our family. Not just for fun, but because of the beautiful little ones that have been in our lives for too short a time (like Lydia, James, and Jake) and the little ones who have struggled to stay in our lives (like Ruby, Jacob, and Owen.) I just wanted to let you know that you did an amazing job as the Team Captain. We were at a party after the walk on Saturday, and someone was bragging that his wife had coordinated the Lafayette Eli Lilly team, and they had raised $12,000. I so badly wanted to say, "Oh yeah? Well, our small group of friends and family raised over $5,000 just because of one very special little girl named Lydia, so there!" But I didn't. (And I have since repented for these thoughts.) However, it really did show me how much of an impact Lydia has had on the people who knew (of) her. What an amazing little girl! And what an amazing Mommy, Daddy, and Brother she was born to! I love you! (And I thought the shirts looked great!)Angie @ Many Little Blessings - Mon April 28, 2008, 2:11 am
I am a regular reader of "I Should Be Folding Laundry," and thought of her having mentioned Lydia while talking about her twin boys when I heard my local news coverage about someone walking for baby Lydia. I thought, "That's can't be a coincidence, can it?" But, apparently it *was* your Lydia.Prayers are with you. Kudos to you for raising so much money!
