We got TiVo!...and Vonage.
Finally, we dropped Dish Network and switched to DirecTV with TiVo! It is awesome. Amy has yet to even realize what this means! I was showing her how to use it the other night. She grabbed the remote from me and, I swear, she hit ONE button and in less than a second she somehow started recording "Under the Tuscan Sun" on a channel not on our subscription plan! It was just recording black! I have no idea how she did it. SHE has no idea how it happend. She was frustrated and said all she wanted to do was see if the remote lit up in the dark!!!!! We have this brand new DVR that is going to change the way we watch TV and all she wants is a remote that lights up????

Also, we kicked SBC to the curb and signed up with Vonage. It is phone service through broadband. We'll cut our phone bill in half and get unlimited calles anywhere in the US and Canada for $25.00. Our number transfer finally went through today. If anybody is interested in getting it, email me. Their referral plan gives a free month to me and the new subscriber. It doesn't matter where you are located as long as you have broadband (cable or DSL).
