8 days into the New Year....
and I'm posting Christmas pictures. How lame, right? I know, it really is. We've been slacker bloggers (okay, that kind of looks like "boogers" at first glance), but I just have this desire to share some pictures from the last month.
I will share two funny things Alex has said lately....
The other day I was trying to explain some etiquette to him. He has a way of announcing to an entire room (or store or restaurant) when he needs to use the bathroom...however, it's usually, "I have to go potty" or "I gotta go poop" at the top of his lungs. Lovely. So, I talked to him about simply saying (in a quieter voice) to me or Mike that he needs to use the bathroom and how no one wants to know specifics. But, I did define the potty talk terms, Number 1 and Number 2, for him. Hey, it's better than hearing, "Poop, poop, poop." Anyway, after I explained the number system, he said very matter of factly, "And number 3 means diarrhea."
I'm sorry, I found that funny. You may be completely grossed out by all of this (which means you are probably not a parent yet), but this is, sadly, common conversation in our household.
Tonight we went to McDonald's and as we walked in Mike said, "Let's go wash our hands." And Alex said, "No I wanna wash YOUR hands" in a sultry-like voice. It was hilarious.

I agree with Lindsay, there is too much to comment on so I will go with what I remember. Love the pic of you and Alex by the tree, mad at you for not saving me any pizza, cookies, candy from the gingerbread house, and more importantly monkey bread. The pic of Alex and his cousins super cute. Sorry about the lotto tickets (you could get popcorn at the movies for about $6.00). I really like Alex's robot and it is about time you blogged! Christopher loved the same areas at the Museum when we went this past summer. Spidey was actually there at the time and C got his picture taken with him. Bummed that we didn't have the slide, though.Love the pics!

Great pix - thanks for sharing (I haven't gotten my Christmas pix off the camera yet, so don't feel bad). Alex is adorable - especially love the "potty story"!
