Everybody Loves the Circus!
This past Saturday we went to see the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus at the Conseco Field House in Indianapolis. I have to admit that when Amy first brought up the idea I was a bit skeptical. I don't remember ever going to a circus. All I really know is from Big Top Pee-Wee which is a very disappointing sequel to Pee Wee's Big Adventure (I mean, C'MON!).
But it turned out to be a lot of fun. Alex loved it and we spent some time exploring parts of downtown Indy we'd never been before as a family. Check out the pics below.

Every time I visit your site and read your family udpates, I always think, "What a special family you have!" I am always so impressed by what you three do together and how much fun you seem to have! It warms my heart.Lindsay - Mon September 8, 2008, 3:09 pm
Yay! It looks like it was fun. :) Alex did a really good job with that picture, too. I'm highly impressed. :) I'm personally appalled at the price of your cotton candy, and I will have "Tough Ruby" shake her fist at the sugary puff of sweetness to really show it who's boss. :)Love you guys! (And why doesn't your site remember my info anymore? Did I screw something up?)

Glad you guys had a great time. I hope we are able to go next year and we will steer clear of the cotton candy. You can tell the economy is in trouble. Last year the cotton candy was $10. Seems like a bargain!Mom (aka Nonna) - Mon September 8, 2008, 8:14 am
Looks like you all had a fun time. Amy, you look "adorable" in the circus hat!!!Lisa - Mon September 8, 2008, 5:41 am
Wow, that's downtown Indy? I haven't been there in awhile. Looks great.Angela - Sun September 7, 2008, 11:49 pm
After seeing all those real clip shows that show animals at the circus go out of control I don't think I would ever be able to go to the circus and feel comfortable. Looks like you guys had a good time and thankfully nothing crazy like elephants going out of control happened while you were there.2010 Mike and Amy Focosi
