Food Coloring Fun
Here it is--the night of the Super Bowl.  Mike is content with his "Bugles."  Ha!  I teased him when he came back from the grocery store with his game day food and got those.  Actually they're better than the alternative (from years' past), Pork Rinds, nasty!  And Alex is happy with his Bagel Bites (pizza bagels)...now those things are pretty gross.  I've been tuning in during the commercials thus far.  Still waiting for something really funny!

I wanted to share some pictures from the last few days.  We really utilized the food coloring lately.  He (Mike), just kidding!, even took an orange bath the other day.

You are such a fun and amazing mother! Seriously...can Ruby and I come over and hang out some more, so that a little of you can rub off on me?? I love you dearly, and I'm looking forward to more consistent playtimes!!

Hey, Amy - that is SO funny. Today I was subbing at my kids' school, and they had an assembly. The high school band came and gave a quick concert. I got all nostalgic when they played the MHS fight song, and -- you guessed it -- Louie, Louie!! LOL!! I was in the Pom Poms in high school, marching with the band at football and sitting in the stands with the Pep Band during basketball. Oh, the good ol' days! =o)

Oh, it looks like you guys had an awesome time. I am so excited that you tried the recipe and had so much fun with it. I love your colors too- much better than mine!

We are doing play dough this week too and I have a recipe bookmarked. I also need to work with Ethan on his Valentines so I will just be a fun mom all week long. :) Usually I am the boring uptight mom- the kids seem to like the fun mom better :)

PS- I posted all of the nutritional info for the granola and a lower fat version too. I hope that helps- I am so proud of you! Hugs!

Ahhh the good old days, my mom used to make playdoh for us and I made it for my kids while I was teaching. It's a lot of fun and a cheap substitute for the real stuff. I never tried the home made finger paints, sounds cool.
