Maternity "Photo Shoot"
My friend, Angela, who is talented and enjoys taking pictures for fun, offered to take some pregnancy photos of me and the family. I was thrilled to capture the memories of this pregnancy. Here are a handful of them...she did a great job and I am so thankful to have these!
In other news, I had my 39-week appointment yesterday (this baby is taking longer to get here than Alex...he was 9 days early) and dr. said baby had not dropped yet :-( and I was only dilated a centimeter, or so, yet my cervix was softening. Ask my mom and Mike, I was initially somewhat bummed about hearing this, mainly because I feel pretty ready to have this baby! AND it's just inevitable that I am going to have a very large baby...and the longer she's in there, the larger she'll get. And the idea of pushing out a big baby...um, yeah. But, I'm feeling okay about it now and just trying to make the most of this time because I'll never get it back! I will say though that I swear she started dropping last night. I mentioned it to Mike, but what do I know? Then, a friend at preschool today, automatically said to me...."You've dropped since yesterday!" I'm like, "I have?" She was adamant that I have (I guess her mom is a midwife) and she has several children. Well, I certainly hope that is the case, but we shall see. Tuesday, the 13th is my due date...could be anytime before...or after, haha.
