This blog is undergoing major changes.Amy and I have been blogging on our site off and on for the last 8 years. Lately, it's been more "off" than "on". Facebook is probably to blame for that, at least in Amy's case. If she has something to share, she shares it there. So this site will be on hiatus until I figure out what we are going to do with it. Today I had the best get-together with a friend and her children. I consider our relationship to be a "peanut butter and jelly" friendship. What I mean by that is that I don't have to worry about what I'm making for lunch. It can simply be peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (although it was chicken nuggets today). We don't even think twice about it.Mike Focosihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06826317301469910405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1217491010811263593.post-77130905208944906582009-12-10T22:39:00.000-05:002011-01-25T22:40:40.367-05:00UNO!!All she needs is a little visor. She's wearing the equivalent of an adult "wife beater." Hello everyone,
First of all, thank you for all of your love and support.
I was admitted to the hospital at 2pm Sunday, December 2nd, 2007 (at 34 weeks) because I was leaking amniotic fluid.
I was started on Pitocin right away to induce labor. I only had slight, inconsistent contractions throughout the rest of the night. The doctor broke my water at 8am Monday morning (Dec.3rdMike Focosihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06826317301469910405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1217491010811263593.post-54545268840914584482007-11-08T12:44:00.000-05:002011-01-24T12:45:07.262-05:00Our Little Star11/08/2007 10:12pm by MikeI haven’t really said anything on here about our baby’s condition and everything that we’re going through. As one can imagine, it was devastating news to us. Living everyday knowing that your unborn child is not going to live is a terrible state that nobody should ever experience. But thankfully, we have received a lot of love and support from our family Mike Focosihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06826317301469910405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1217491010811263593.post-86350769301721545852007-08-28T12:41:00.000-04:002011-01-24T12:43:19.013-05:00Lord, Give Us Strength08/28/2007 06:29am by AmyWhere do I begin? Our family received some devastating news last week and I need to write about it and put it out there. I'm hoping this will be therapeutic for me.
For a while now, I have been telling everyone I know that we were having an ultrasound on Thursday, August 23rd (at 20 weeks gestation) and I was going to find out the sex of my baby. IMike Focosihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06826317301469910405noreply@blogger.com0
